Scored for symphonic band with optional chorus and optional organ. The score and instrumental parts are clearly marked with brackets and the text “tacet if chorus is being used” and “tacet if organ is being used.” If neither organ or chorus is being used for a performance, then all notes are played.
Digital download of a .zip file containing PDFs of the score and the parts. It also includes a tip sheet on various ways to assemble multi-page parts.
A download page will appear after you complete your order, and the download link will also be emailed to you.
The score is formatted for 11 x 17 (“ledger” or A3) and should be printed double-sided. 28-pound paper should be used; regular 20-pound paper is too flimsy.
The parts are formatted for 9 x 12, scalable to 8.5 x 11 or A4. (Most computers will auto-scale.). The parts can be printed on standard 8.5 x 11 (USA) or A4, with pages taped together, or, better, they can be printed double-sided on 11 x 17 for 8.5 x 11 folded booklets, or 12 x 18 for 9 x 12 folded booklets This requires “impositioning” so that the pages come out in the correct order. There is a terrific app we highly recommend for this called “PDF Music Binder” from Notation Central at this address: https://www.notationcentral.com/product/pdf-musicbinder/
Standard 20-pound copy paper is too flimsy for instrumental parts. Use 28-pound.
The organ part is best printed double-sided, 2-up, as described above, or printed on 8.5 x 11, 3-hole punched, and placed in a 3-ring binder. The part will be too bulky and awkward if taped accordion fold.
